7 am registration, 8 am tee time.

$150 fee includes golf with cart, complimentary gift bag and Dinner at the 19th Hole at Mt. Hood including raffle & prizes.  

And – for your family or friends who are not golfing, you can let them know that they can join the golfers for Dinner at the 19th Hole at the golf course dining hall for $25 per person immediately after golf (approximately 1 p.m.)

The Combined Boston Saengerfest Men's Chorus & English Men's Chorus

SAVE THE DATE! Oct. 30, 2019: The Boston Saengerfest Men’s Chorus joined by a visiting men’s chorus from England will bring 100 men to the stage to shake the walls in a benefit for Bread of Life!

The BSMC, based at First Parish Church in Weston, MA, is made up of men from many backgrounds and singing experiences, including college glee club alumni, ministers, doctors or lawyers seeking recreation, retired professionals seeking a communal atmosphere, music majors or music enthusiasts eager to learn. Their repertoire is broad, from Americana from the frontier to Broadway – men’s choral music in many styles and languages: traditional glee club, classic, popular, opera, musical theater. Their song choices, concerts and theme based programs are guided by a simple assertion: “We Love to Sing.”

Project Bread's Walk for Hunger - to benefit Bread of Life

Bread of Life is NOT planning to hold our Walk for Bread & 5K Run in October this year. Instead, we’re asking our supporters to participate in Project Bread’s 51st Annual Walk for Hunger May 5th.

Project Bread will share donations raised by Teams 50/50 with the Team's organization. Bread of Life has a team, captained by volunteer Sara Brandon. You can support Bread of Life in a number of ways: by walking (3-mile or 20-mile), running (5K), or donating to support a member of the BOL Team.

Join us on April 6th at historic Memorial Hall in Melrose, MA for the fourth annual Melrose BEER + BITES local craft brew tasting fundraiser, where guests can enjoy unlimited 2 oz. pours of a unique assortment of local craft beverages and tasty appetizer "bites" from area food and retail partners. Sponsored by Melrose Highlands Congregational Church. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Bread of Life Capital Campaign.

There will again be two tasting sessions due to the continued popularity of the event:

*Session #1 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

*Sesson #2 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Don't Be Alone on Thanksgiving - Free Community Turkey Dinner

This dinner is open to anyone who would like to enjoy a wonderful holiday meal in good company - free of charge. No reservation is needed. Meals will be delivered to senior citizens in local cities and towns who are unable to attend. Sponsored by: Bread of Life, Anthony's of Malden, Forestdale Community Church, Malden, Hoff's Bakery, Malden, Knights of Columbus IC Council #13966, Malden High School, Malden Mayor Gary Christenson, Marty Murphy/Marty’s Caterers, Tim Rufo & Friends, and Salemwood School Staff, Malden.  

Donations of roasted turkeys (preferably de-boned) are much-needed and would be appreciated. They may be brought to the Malden High School cafeteria, rear entrance off of Ferry Street, on Wednesday, November 21 from 4 – 7:30 pm.

East Boston Savings Bank employees are celebrating their 32nd Annual Holiday Charity Auction with all proceeds supporting local non-profit agencies, including Bread of Life, Crossroads Family Shelter, Citizens Inn Haven From Hunger, East Boston Social Centers, Greater Medford VNA, NOAH, and Zumix.

Thank you for your participation! You helped raise money to put food on the table for many neighbors who find themselves struggling to meet their basic needs for food, housing and health care. This is our major annual fundraising event, helping us provide over 1 million meals a year for neighbors in need in Malden, Melrose, Everett, Medford and six surrounding communities.
