Bread of Life Financials and Impact

2024 Bread of Life impact on food insecurity:

• Provided food for 76,100 households numbering 157,000 individuals.

• Distributed 94,100 bags of groceries to adults, children and seniors through our Malden Food Mart, Everett pantries, Motel outreach and Everett Backpack Nutrition Program.

• Delivered 13,400 grocery orders to senior citizens and disabled residents through our Grocery Delivery Program.

• Delivered meals and groceries to 8,700 homeless households of individuals and families sheltered in local motels.

• Distributed 2,820 nutrition backpacks to students in the Everett Public Schools

• Provided 24,600 meals through our evening meal program, including meal delivery to homebound senior citizens and our Thanksgiving and Christmas day dinners

• Provided increased access to food, including interpreting and translation services, nutrition and sanitation education, and outreach to immigrant and BIPOC communities, through our Food Access Project.

• Provided thousands of dollars’ worth of supermarket gift cards, toiletries, household supplies, diapers, blankets, jackets, boots, sneakers, gloves, hats and scarves to families and individuals.
