Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 12-5pm. Wednesdays 9:30am-5pm. Fridays limited opportunities 12-5pm.

*Due to various factors, projects not always available. Minimum age without adult is 13. Groups of 5+ must schedule in advance.
Backpack Nutrition Program: Help pack backpacks with nutritious single serving foods for Everett K-8 students. Any Monday 12-3pm.
Grocery Delivery Program - Deliveries: Help deliver groceries in your car to seniors and people who are mobility-impaired. Routes available to fit your schedule! Any Tuesday any time 1-3pm; Any Wednesday/Thursday any time 10am-3pm. Later times available on these days upon request.
Grocery Delivery Program - Packing: Help pack groceries to be delivered to seniors and people who are mobility-impaired. Any Tuesday through Thursday any time 12-5pm. Senior Volunteer Initiative for older adults: Any Tuesday 12-3pm.
Food Pantry Organization: Help unload food pantry truck and organize food pantry: open wrapped pallets of food, sort food, lift and move boxes, stock shelves/refrigerators/freezers, organize/clean, etc. Learn to operate pallet jack, equipment lift and scale. Any Monday or Friday any time 12-4:30pm. Any Tuesday 2:30–4:30pm.
Food Access Program: Portuguese and Haitian Creole interpreters needed during our Food Mart. Any Wednesday or Friday any time 1-4pm. Other positions available to help improve access to nutritious and culturally appropriate food, and to volunteer opportunities for non-English speakers. Help with interpreting, and translating and proofreading written materials.
Everett Mobile Market - Distribution: Help with all facets of providing nutritious groceries for Everett residents. Lafayette School parking lot, 117 Edith St., Everett. Any Thursday any time 3:30-5pm.
Everett Mobile Market - Packing: Help pack groceries to provide nutritious groceries for Everett residents. Any Wednesday any time 9:30am-12pm.
SCHEDULED VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES - COMPLETE THIS Form:
Food Pantry - Cleaning: Groups welcome! Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming Food Mart by helping clean it and New Member Office: Tidy up, dispose of trash, wipe down and sanitize tables/shelving/carts/windowsills, wipe outside and inside of refrigerators/coolers/freezers, empty trash/recycling/compost into correct dumpsters, sweep and mop floors. Any Monday or Thursday any time 12-2pm. All volunteers must be scheduled beforehand.
Evening Meals Program - Dishwasher: Serve as Dishwasher and Dishwashing Machine Operator. Must be 18 or older. Any Tuesday through Friday 4:30-6pm. All volunteers must be scheduled beforehand.
Evening Meals Program: Scheduled Groups Only: Help prepare and/or serve meal for about 60 dine-in patrons/60 take-out. Help with dining room/service area prep and clean up. Select Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6pm. Information flyer here. All volunteers must be scheduled beforehand.
Backpack Nutrition Program: Scheduled Groups Only: Help pack backpacks with nutritious single serving foods for Everett K-8 students. 6 volunteers min/15 max. Days available: Mondays 12-3pm, Evenings on Thursdays/Fridays, Weekends.
THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO MAKE A DIFFERENce - BE CREATIVE!
Cooks and Bakers - Prepare food, e.g., mac & cheese, lasagna, casseroles; sides and prepared salads; cookies, brownies, cakes, pies. Deliver to 54 Eastern Ave., Malden, Monday through Friday 9am-4pm.
And Also - Organize a food drive, Make goody bags, Write/Draw greeting cards, and more…
SERVICE REQUIREMENTS
For service requirements, a supervisor must sign off on the hours you volunteer. Ask for our Volunteer Service Log to keep track of your hours. When your requirement is complete, you can ask for a Confirmation of Service Letter.
ENTRANCE AND PARKING INFO
Our entrance is on the opposite side of the building from 54 Eastern Ave. We're accessible from Buses 99, 104 & 105 and the Malden Center T stop. Parking is available on the street and in 101 Ferry St. lot and in 219 Centre St. lot in spots marked with a cross.
