*Due to various factors, volunteer projects are not always available. Minimum age requirement is 13. Groups wishing to volunteer must schedule.

Grocery Delivery Program - Packing: Help pack groceries that will be delivered to people who are homebound. Any Tuesday through Thursday - any time from 12-5pm.
Grocery Delivery Program - Deliveries: Help deliver groceries in your car to people who are homebound. Serving Chelsea, East Boston, Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Revere, Stoneham, Swampscott, Wakefield, Winchester, Winthrop, Woburn. Any Tuesday - any time from 1-3pm, Any Wednesday/Thursday - any time from 10am-3pm - Great to do with a friend or family!
Food Pantry Organization: Any Tuesday1:30–3:30pm; any Friday 2-4pm. Help unload food delivery truck and organize food pantry: open wrapped pallets of food, sort food, move boxes, stock shelves/refrigerators/freezers, organize/clean, etc. Learn to operate pallet jack to move pallets and to use equipment lift and scales. May involve some heavy lifting.
Everett Mobile Market - Packing: Help pack groceries for our weekly Mobile Market to provide nutritious groceries to residents of Everett. Any Wednesday - any time from 9:30am-12:30pm.
Everett Mobile Market - Distribution: Help provide nutritious groceries to residents of Everett. Help give food out, enroll new people and check people in. Lafayette School parking lot, 117 Edith St., Everett. Any Thursday - any time from 3:30-5pm.
PLEASE SCHEDULE A TIME TO VOLUNTEER FOR THESE OPPORTUNITIES:

Food Pantry Organization: Any Monday - any time from 12-4pm. Help organize food pantry: open wrapped pallets of food, sort food, move boxes, stock shelves/refrigerators/freezers, organize/clean, etc. Learn to operate pallet jack to move pallets and to use equipment lift. May involve some heavy lifting.
Evening Meals Program: Select Tuesdays through Fridays - Help serve meal to about 60 patrons and be part of an interactive team. Help with breakdown/clean up: 3:30-6pm (must be 13 or older). All volunteers must be scheduled beforehand.
Food Access Program: Help improve access to nutritious food and volunteer opportunities for non-English speakers by helping with interpreting, and translating and proofreading written materials.
Backpack Nutrition Program: Scheduled Groups Only: Help pack backpacks with single serving foods for students in elementary schools in Everett. 6 volunteers min/15 max.
THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO MAKE A DIFFERENce - BE CREATIVE!
Cooks and Bakers - Prepare food, e.g., mac & cheese, lasagna, casseroles; sides and prepared salads; cookies, brownies, cakes, pies. Deliver to 54 Eastern Ave., Malden, on Monday 8am-4pm and Tuesday-Friday 8am-6:30pm.
And Also - Organize a food drive, Make goody bags, Write/Draw greeting cards, and more…
