Jamila, a 73-year-old widow, often skipped meals so she could afford her medicine. A neighbor told her about Bread of Life, and though she was nervous at first, she decided to go. Volunteers welcomed her warmly and helped her feel understood. She received fresh food and groceries that eased her worries. Now, with our support, she no longer has to choose between eating and taking her medication, and she feels part of a caring community.
